How do you combat the Sunday Scaries? I don't th How do you combat the Sunday Scaries?

I don't think there is a magical way. No matter what, the thoughts about the upcoming week are inevitable.

So, this Sunday, I am letting go and letting God.

My road of spirituality has undoubtedly been an interesting journey over the years. Before life had changed completely in March 2020, attending church regularly has always been a natural thing. When we were restricted from public activities to keep everyone safe, I truly missed having that time going to a place that brought me weekly joy.

During that year, near Easter, I purchased this journaling bible. And, I am so glad I did.

And I don't know a thing about formally following bible readings or journaling, or bible journaling. I just needed something that I could have to help bring fulfillment to something I desperately needed during that time.

Two years later, I still use the bible journal. I try my best to read it every day, although some days may slip by. Sometimes I open it randomly to read, and sometimes I simply follow the readings on the My Parish App on my phone.

Now, today, on this Sunday, I continue to show gratitude by journaling in this once a simple amazon purchase that seemed to be life-changing. And today I am excited to have my third day back attending a place of worship that seems to help alieve those Sunday Scary nerves.

I hope you find ease this Sunday if you are having some Sunday Scaries about the upcoming week.
